Los Angeles, Calif β€” The LAFD chapter of the Fire Hogs, a community of firefighters who ride motorcycles and raise awareness of widowed, orphaned and disabled firefighters, kicked off a 3,000 mile ride from coast to coast this weekend, starting from Los Angeles, CA.

60 riders are participating in the journey, ending in New York City, NY on September 11th, to remember and honor the 343 firefighters off the FDNY who lost their lives in the 2001 attacks.

2021 marks the 20th occasion of this memorial ride for the Hogs.

The Fire Hogs have other memorial rides planned, including their 5th annual memorial ride on Sept. 11th in LA County. Visit Fire Hogs M/C LAFD for more information.
