Isle of Man β€” Breaking news from the Isle of Man TT where in the final lap of Friday’s sidecar motorcycle race Roger Stockton, 56, and Bradley Stockton, 21, are killed while piloting their Suzuki LCR F2 sidecar.

This marks the fourth fatal crash on the island circuit this year, and the second in just a week alone at a jump just over the starting line at Bray Hill referred to as Ago’s Leap.

Both the pilot and passenger had extensive race experience, although this race marked Brad’s first Isle of Man. They had been racing together as the father and son team, Dennis Menace Racing, for five seasons.

In a statement, Isle of Man organizers wrote:

It is with deep sense of sorrow that the Isle of Man TT Races can announce the loss of Roger and Bradley Stockton following an incident on the final lap of the second Sidecar Race of the 2022 Isle of Man TT Races.

Roger and Bradley were father and son, and driver and passenger respectively.

We extend our deepest sympathy to their families, loved ones and friends.
